Karl-Anthony Towns' Instagram Post After Timberwolves-Warriors Game
On Sunday evening, Minnesota Timberwolves faced off with the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
The Timberwolves won the game by a score of 116-110, and Anthony Edwards led the team with 33 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals.
Karl-Anthony Towns, who had 21 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block, made a post to Instagram after the victory.
There were over 7,000 likes and 100 comments on his post in less than five hours.
Towns captioned his photos: "Let’s keep it rolling ➡️"
The Timberwolves improved to 7-2 in their first nine games and are now in the middle of a six-game winning streak.
Towns is averaging 19.2 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while shooting 45.1% from the field and 34.7% from the three-point range.
On Tuesday evening, the Timberwolves and Warriors will face off (again) at the Chase Center.
Towns is in his ninth season in the NBA and is coming off a year where he averaged 20.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists per contest while shooting 49.5% from the field and 36.6% from the three-point range in 29 games.
The Timberwolves were the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 42-40 record and lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
As for the Warriors, they are now 6-5 in their first 11 games and in the middle of a three-game losing streak.
Steph Curry led the team with a game-high 38 points.
