Kawhi Leonard's Official Injury Status For Clippers-Suns Game
On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers will be in Arizona to face off against the Phoenix Suns.
For the game, the Clippers will remain without one of their best players, as two-time NBA Champion Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out.
Leonard has missed each of the previous four games, so this will be his fifth straight out of the starting lineup.
Via ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk on Monday: "Kawhi Leonard (right knee inflammation) remains out against Phoenix tomorrow."
Leonard has had another productive season with averages of 23.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 52.5% from the field and 41.7% from the three-point range in 68 games.
The Clippers are currently the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 50-28 record in 78 games.
They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
Most recently, the Clippers defeated Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers (at home in Los Angeles) by a score of 120-118.
Following Tuesday's matchup, the Suns and Clippers will face off (again) on Wednesday evening in Los Angeles.
As for the Suns, they are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 46-32 record in 78 games.
They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Zion WIlliamson and the New Orleans Pelicans (at home) by a score of 113-105.
Last season, the Suns defeated the Clippers in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
