Kevin Durant Made NBA History In Celtics-Suns Game
On Saturday evening, the Phoenix Suns lost to the Boston Celtics (at home) by a score of 117-107.
Despite the loss, 2014 MVP Kevin Durant was brilliant and put up 45 points, ten rebounds, six assists and one steal while shooting 18/26 from the field and 4/7 from the three-point range in 37 minutes of playing time.
He also made NBA history by moving ahead of Hall of Famer Jason Kidd (1,988) for 16th on the all-time three-pointers list.
Following Kidd, the next player for Durant to pass will be his teammate Eric Gordon (2,003).

Durant is 35, but still among the best ten best players in the NBA, and is averaging 28.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 52.8% from the field and 42.3% from the three-point range in 57 games.
With the loss, the Suns dropped to 37-27 in 64 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Western Conference.
Following the Celtics, they will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit Darius Garland and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Ohio.
As for the Celtics, they are the first seed in the Eastern Conference (and the best team in the NBA) with a 49-14 record in 63 games.
They snapped a two-game losing streak and will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon.
