Kevin Durant Throws Down Unbelievable Dunk In Wizards-Suns Game

On Sunday evening, the Phoenix Suns hosted the Washington Wizards in Arizona.

The Suns won the game by a score of 112-108, and late in the fourth quarter, Kevin Durant had a massive highlight.  

With less than 30 seconds left, Durant drove straight to the basket and finished off a slam dunk (and was also fouled on the play). 

Durant finished his night with 28 points, five rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block while shooting 11/24 from the field in 35 minutes of playing time. 

The 35-year-old is averaging 30.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest while shooting 51.4% from the field and 47.1% from the three-point range in 22 games.  

With the victory, the Suns improved to 14-12 in their first 26 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Western Conference. 

They also snapped a two-game losing streak and are now 7-8 in the 15 games they have hosted in Arizona. 

Following the Wizards, the Suns will visit Deandre Ayton and the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon on Tuesday evening. 

As for the Wizards, they dropped to 4-21 in their first 25 games, which has them as the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 2-8 over their last ten games and 2-13 in the 15 games they have played on the road away from Washington, D.C. 

Following the Suns, the Wizards will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit the Sacramento Kings in California.
