On Sunday evening, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Utah Jazz by a score of 140-137 (in overtime).

Kevin Durant was sensational and put up 39 points, eight rebounds, ten assists, two steals and two blocks while shooting 14/27 from the field and 4/9 from the three-point range in 46 minutes of playing time.

During the game, Andy Larson of the Salt Lake Tribune sent out a post on X.

Durant quoted the post with a response (on Monday morning).

Larson wrote: "No chance that Markkanen call on Durant goes against him if the names on the back of the jerseys are reversed"

Durant responded: "I guess we’ll never know."

Durant is in the middle of another sensational season and is averaging 31.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest while shooting 52.8% from the field and 49.2% from the three-point range in 13 games.

With the victory over the Jazz, the Suns improved to 7-6 in their first 13 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and 5-2 in the seven games they have played on the road away from Arizona.

The Suns will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host the Portland Trail Blazers.

Durant is in his 16th season playing in the NBA, and this is his first full year with the Suns (he was traded during the middle of last season).

The Suns are coming off a year where they were the fourth seed in the Western Conference and lost to the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the NBA playoffs.
