Milwaukee Bucks Player Leaves Knicks Game Due To Mouth Trauma
On Sunday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks are hosting the New York Knicks in Wisconsin.
During the game, 2021 NBA Champion Khris Middleton went to the locker room with an injury and did not return.
He finished the game with five points, four rebounds and two assists while shooting 2/4 from the field and 1/1 from the three-point range in 13 minutes of playing time.
Via The Milwaukee Bucks: "Khris Middleton (mouth trauma) will not return to tonight's game."
Middleton had come into the evening with averages of 15.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists per contest while shooting 49.0% from the field and 37.7% from the three-point range in 51 games.
The Bucks are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 47-30 record in 77 games.
They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game losing streak.
Following their matchup with New York, the Bucks will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics in Wisconsin.
At home, they have been excellent, going 29-10 in 39 games.
As for the Knicks, they entered the evening with 45-32 record in 77 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.
They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Chicago Bulls by a score of 108-100.
Following the Bucks, the Knicks will play the Bulls (again) on Tuesday evening at the United Center.
