After getting benched at the end of the fourth quarter in the team's last game, Klay Thompson had a strong bounce-back performance, putting up 18 points, three rebounds, one assist and one block while shooting 6/12 from the field and 4/5 from the three-point range in 28 minutes of playing time.
That said, it's been an up-and-down season for the Warriors, and with the trade deadline on Thursday afternoon, there has been a lot of talk about what the franchise should do.
Following Wednesday's victory, Thompson, who will be a free agent this summer, was asked about the rumors (h/t Anthony Slater of The Athletic).
Reporter: "To see your name come up in trade conversations with the deadline looming, not saying that that's gonna happen, but it's different than ever before."
Thompson: "I don't partake in NBA discourse on the internet. I think that's such a waste of energy."

With the victory, the Warriors improved to 23-25 in their first 48 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.
They are 5-5 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game winning streak.
The Warriors will play the final game of their road trip on Thursday evening when they face off against Pascal Siakam and the Indiana Pacers.
