UPDATE: Kyle Kuzma has been ruled out.

On Tuesday evening, the Washington Wizards will be in Minnesota to face off against the Timberwolves at the Target Center.

For the game, the Wizards could be without their best player, as 2020 NBA Champion Kyle Kuzma is on the injury report.

Kuzma has missed each of the previous two games, so this would be his third straight out of the starting lineup (if he doesn't play).

Via Bijan Todd of Monumental Sports Network: "The Wizards have listed Kyle Kuzma (ankle sprain), Tristan Vukcevic (knee soreness), Richaun Holmes (toe contusion), Johnny Davis (hip contusion), and Anthony Gill (knee soreness) as QUESTIONABLE for tonight's game in Minnesota."

Kuzma has had a solid season with averages of 22.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 33.6% from the three-point range in 70 games.

That said, the Wizards have been among the worst teams in the NBA and are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 15-64 record in 79 games.

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game losing streak.

Following the Timberwolves, the Wizards will play their next game on Friday evening when they return home to host the Chicago Bulls.

As for the Timberwolves, they are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 54-24 record in 78 games.

Following the Wizards, they will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit the Denver Nuggets in Colorado.
