On Sunday afternoon, the Dallas Mavericks are playing the Houston Rockets (at home).

During the game, 2016 NBA Champion Kyrie Irving made an incredible shot that got a lot of views on social media.

Irving had 23 points, seven rebounds and one assist while shooting 6/13 from the field and 2/6 from the three-point range in his first 31 minutes of playing time.

The former Duke star came into the day with averages of 25.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 49.3% from the field and 41.1% from the three-point range in 55 games.

Right now, the Mavs are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 47-30 record in 77 games.

They have gone 9-1 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

Most recently, the Mavs beat the Golden State Warriors (at home) by a score of 108-106.

Irving had 26 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block while shooting 9/19 from the field and 2/7 from the three-point range in 42 minutes of playing time.

Following the Rockets, the Mavs will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina.

As for the Rockets, they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 38-39 record in 77 games.

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a four-game losing streak.
