LeBron James Reacts To Nick Chubb's Injury In Steelers-Browns Game
On Monday evening, the Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting the Cleveland Browns in Pennsylvania for Monday Night Football.
During the first half, star running back Nick Chubb got injured and had to be carted off the field.
Many people on social media are reacting to the injury, and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James sent out a post (with his well-wishes) that is going viral.
In less than 15 minutes, his post had over 17,000 likes and 800,000 impressions.
Via James: "DAMN MAN!!!! 🤦🏾♂️. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Nick Chubb. Praying for the absolute best"
Chubb was initially the 35th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft after a stellar college career for the Georgia Bulldogs.
He is a four-time Pro Bowler and is coming off a season where he rushed for 1,525 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Before the injury on Monday evening, Chubb had rushed for 64 yards on ten carries.
Meanwhile, the Browns came into the night 1-0 after a dominating win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1 (24-3).
The franchise made the NFL playoffs in 2020 for the first time in 18 years but has been unable to return in each of the previous two seasons.
As for James, he is coming off another remarkable year where he averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field and 32.1% from the three-point range in 55 games.
The Lakers were the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 43-39 record but made the Conference Finals (before getting swept by the Denver Nuggets).
