Colorado football has been the country's most talked about sports team over the last 48 hours.

Hall of Famer Deion Sanders is in his first year as the head coach of the Buffaloes, and the team is 2-0 with wins over TCU and Nebraska.

On Saturday evening, they are hosting Colorado State in Boulder, and they came into the day ranked as the 18th-best team in the nation.

During the first quarter of the game, Sanders' son (Shilo Sanders) had an incredible interception that he took back 80 yards for a touchdown to score the game's first points. 

The play has gone viral on social media, and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James sent out a post on X with his reaction.  

James' post had over 15,000 likes and 760,000 impressions in 30 minutes. 

Via James: "SHILO supposed to high step all the way to the ZONE!!!!!! Ayyyyeeeeee 🤣🤣🤣🤣🕺🏾🤷🏾‍♂️"

Last year, the Buffalos were 1-11, and many new players have joined the team since Sanders took over. 

Therefore, the quick turnaround has been one of the best stories in sports and had significant media coverage.  

As for James, he is coming off another sensational season where he averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field in 55 regular season games. 

The Lakers were the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 43-39 record and lost to the Denver Nuggets in the Conference Finals. 

Next year will be James' 21st season playing in the NBA.
