Lakers Player Reportedly Playing "Under The Weather" Against Pacers

According to Shams Charania, a Los Angeles Lakers player "is under the weather" for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers are facing off against the Indiana Pacers (in Las Vegas) for the In-Season Tournament Championship.

For the game, the Lakers will have Austin Reaves available, but Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reports that the former Oklahoma star "is under the weather."

Via Charania: "I'm told Lakers guard Austin Reaves is under the weather and plans to play in tonight's In-Season Tournament Championship game against the Pacers here in Las Vegas."

Reaves has played in all 23 games so far this season and is averaging 14.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.7% from the field and 33.0% from the three-point range.

He is one of the team's best role players, so his status is noteworthy.

The Lakers most recently beat the New Orleans Pelicans by a score of 133-89 on Thursday in Las Vegas.

Reaves had 17 points, five rebounds, seven assists and one steal while shooting 5/9 from the field and 3/6 from the three-point range in 23 minutes of playing time.

Following the In-Season Tournament, the Lakers will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit the Dallas Mavericks in Texas.

The Lakers are currently the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 14-9 record in their first 23 games.

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games.

As for the Pacers, they are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 12-8 record in 20 games.
