Latest Report Proves Memphis Grizzlies' Ja Morant Remains Extremely Popular Among NBA Fans /

Ja Morant is one of the most exciting (and popular) players in the NBA but has recently found himself in the news for concerning reasons.

Earlier this month, the Memphis Grizzlies All-Star point guard was seen in a social media video allegedly holding a gun and has been "suspended from all team activities."

Following the alleged incident, Morant's Nike shoes no longer appeared on the website.

That said, they ended up coming out (on May 25), and according to TMZ, the shoes "sold out in minutes."

Based on the shoes being so coveted, Morant is clearly still one of the most popular players in the league despite the alleged incident.

He is only 23 years old and has been an All-Star in each of the last two seasons (and led the Grizzlies to the Playoffs in each of the previous three).

On Twitter, Morant has over 2.7 million followers, and he has over 9.7 million on Instagram

The Grizzlies finished the 2022-23 regular season with a 51-31 record and were the second seed in the Western Conference.

However, they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round in six games.

Morant had another unbelievable season and averaged a sensational 26.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field.

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that police checked on Morant at his home following cryptic posts to his Instagram story.
