On Sunday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will be in New York to face off agaisnt the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center.

For the game, the Lakers could be without their best player, as All-Star forward LeBron James is on the injury report.

Via Underdog NBA: "LeBron James (ankle) questionable for Sunday."

James has had another incredible season with averages of 25.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 53.0% from the field and 40.1% from the three-point range in 64 games.

The Lakers are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 41-33 record in 74 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Indiana Pacers (on the road) by a score of 109-90.

James had 16 points, ten rebounds and eight assists while shooting 6/12 from the field and 0/3 from the three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.

Following the Nets, the Lakers will travel to Canada to face off against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday evening.

As for the Nets, they are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 29-45 record in 74 games.

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

Most recently, the Nets beat the Chicago Bulls by a score of 125-108.

Following their matchup with Los Angeles, they will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis.
