UPDATE: The Lakers won by a score of 134-110, and LeBron James had another big dunk during the second half. 

On Sunday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Portland Trail Blazers at Crypto.com Arena.  

During the first half, LeBron James had a highlight that got a lot of attention on social media. 

D'Angelo Russell made a perfect bounce pass, and James finished off the play with a slam dunk.

James is 39, but he is still among the most exciting players in the league.   

He is also in the middle of another sensational season with averages of 24.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 52.0% from the field and 39.2% from the three-point range in 39 games. 

The Lakers have had an up-and-down season and entered the night with a 21-22 record in their first 43 games.  

They had been in the middle of a two-game winning streak but most recently lost to the Brooklyn Nets (at home) by a score of 130-112. 

In 34 minutes, James had 24 points, 11 rebounds and five assists while shooting 9/22 from the field and 2/5 from the three-point range.  

After Sunday's showdown with Portland, the Lakers will face off against the Los Angeles Clippers (as the road team) on Tuesday evening. 

As for the Trail Blazers, they are among the worst teams in the league, with a 12-29 record in their first 41 games. 

That said, they are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and most recently beat the Indiana Pacers by a score of 118-115. 

Following the Lakers, the Trail Blazers will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday.
