LeBron James Made Thrilling NBA History In Nuggets-Lakers Game

LeBron James made NBA history during Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.

On Monday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Denver Nuggets at Crypto.com Arena in California for Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.

The Lakers are down 0-3 in the series, so they need a victory in order to avoid getting swept. 

LeBron James is doing all he can to force a Game 5 back in Denver, and he had 31 points in the first 24 minutes of the game (he played the entire first half).

In addition to his early dominance, the four-time Champion also made exciting NBA history.  

He is now the first player to record 8,000 career Playoff points. 

James is the NBA's all-time leader in Playoff points by a significant amount, as the next closest player is Hall of Famer Michael Jordan (5,987).

Monday is his 282nd career Playoff game, and he has been to the NBA Finals ten times. 

Despite being known as an all-around player, James is also the league's all-time leading scorer during the regular season (38,652).

James and the Lakers are the seventh seed in the Western Conference, and they have defeated the Memphis Grizzlies and the Golden State Warriors through the first two rounds. 

The 19-time All-Star is in his 20th season in the league and his fifth playing for the Lakers. 

In 2020, James led the franchise to the NBA Championship. 

The winner of the Nuggets-Lakers series will advance to the NBA Finals and face off against the Miami Heat or the Boston Celtics.
