LeBron James Sent Out A Tweet After The Lakers Beat The Warriors

LeBron James sent out a tweet after the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors on Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday afternoon, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 113-105 (at home in Los Angeles, California).

Four-time NBA Champion LeBron James missed his fourth game in a row, but Anthony Davis exploded for 39 points, eight rebounds, six assists and two blocks to lead the Lakers to the massive victory.

The Lakers improved to 31-34 in 65 games, which has them a half-game back of the New Orleans Pelicans and Utah Jazz (who are tied for the ninth seed).

After the game, James sent out a tweet.

James: "YESSIR #Lakeshow !!!!! W"

In addition to only being a half-game out of the play-in tournament, the Lakers are 2.5 games behind the Minnesota Timberwolves for the sixth seed (the final guaranteed playoff spot).

Losing James for a significant period is tough because he is the team's best player and is averaging an outstanding 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.9 assists per contest (while shooting 50.1% from the field).

On March 2, the Lakers announced the injury diagnosis for the 19-time NBA All-Star.

Via The Lakers On March 2: "LeBron James has been evaluated by Lakers team physicians and medical staff, and it has been determined that he has sustained a right foot tendon injury. James will be reevaluated in approximately three weeks."

James is in his fifth season with the organization and led them to the NBA Championship in 2020.

However, they have also missed the playoffs in two out of the last four seasons.

The Lakers will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host the Memphis Grizzlies.
