LeBron James Suffers Multiple Cuts To His Arm In Trail Blazers-Lakers Game

LeBron James was inadvertently scratched during Sunday's game.

On Sunday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Portland Trail Blazers (at home) by a score of 134-110.    

19-time NBA All-Star LeBron James had another good game, putting up 28 points, five rebounds and five assists while shooting 8/16 from the field and 3/8 from the three-point range in 31 minutes of playing time.    

During the game, the four-time NBA Champion was inadvertently scratched by Scoot Henderson, which led to multiple cuts on his arm (h/t House of Highlights). 

James is now averaging 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 52.0% from the field and 39.1% from the three-point range in 39 games.  

With the victory, the Lakers improved to 22-22 in their first 44 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and are 16-8 in the 24 games they have hosted in Los Angeles. 

Following Sunday's victory over the Trail Blazers, the Lakers will face off against Russell Westbrook and the Los Angeles Clippers (as the road team) on Tuesday evening.  

As for the Trail Blazers, they are the 14th seed in the Western Conference and dropped to 12-30 their first 42 games.  

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and 5-18 in the 23 games they have played on the road away from Portland.  

Following the Lakers, the Trail Blazers will now face off against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday evening in Oklahoma.
