LeBron James' Viral Quote After Mavs-Lakers Game

LeBron James spoke to the media after Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers defeated Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks by a score of 127-110.

The Lakers had been struggling over the last few weeks but are now in the middle of a two-game winning streak and 15-7 in the 22 games they have played on their home floor.

After the game, James was asked if the Lakers need to make any moves (with the trade deadline approaching), and his response went viral on social media (h/t Spectrum SportsNet and Daniel Starkand of Lakers Nation).

Reporter: "How much do you feel like you guys need to add, if any at all, over the next few weeks?"

James: "I don't play fantasy basketball. What I do is focus on the guys that's here and is in uniform and show up to work every day. It's too disrespectful to be thinking about what we need or what we don't have. I don't do that to my teammates."

James finished the game with 25 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and one steal while shooting 10/19 from the field and 3/7 from the three-point range in 33 minutes of playing time.

He is averaging 24.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 7.6 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 52.4% from the field and 39.1% from the three-point range in 38 games.

The Lakers improved to 21-21 in their first 42 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Western Conference.

Following the Mavs, they will host the Brooklyn Nets on Friday evening in Los Angeles, California.
