Luka Doncic's Current Injury Status For Mavs-Rockets Game
UPDATE: Luka Doncic is available (h/t Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News).
On Sunday afternoon, the Dallas Mavericks will be in Houston to face off against the Rockets.
For the game, the Mavs could be without their best player, as All-Star forward Luka Doncic is on the injury report.
Doncic missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the starting lineup (if he doesn't play).
Via ESPN's Tim MacMahon: "Luka Doncic (knee soreness) and Maxi Kleber (back spasms) are questionable vs. Rockets on Sunday after missing Friday’s win over the Warriors."
Doncic is in the middle of another sensational season with averages of 33.8 points, 9.2 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 48.6% from the field and 38.2% from the three-point range in 67 games.
The Mavs are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 47-30 record in 77 games.
They have gone 9-1 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.
Most recently, the Mavs beat Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors by a score of 108-106.
Following Houston, they will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina.
As for the Rockets, they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 38-39 record in 77 games.
They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a four-game losing streak.
Following Dallas, the Rockets will host the Orlando Magic on Tuesday evening in Texas.
