On Saturday afternoon, the Dallas Mavericks hosted the Oklahoma City Thunder in Texas. 

The Mavs dominated from start to finish and won by a score of 146-111.

New additions Daniel Gafford and P.J. Washington made their debuts for the Mavs and combined to put up 33 points and 14 rebounds. 

All-Star Luka Doncic led the way with 32 points, eight rebounds and nine assists while shooting 9/14 from the field and 4/8 from the three-point range in 31 minutes of playing time. 

After the game, Doncic made a post to Instagram that had over 115,000 likes in less than six hours. 

Doncic captioned his post: "🔥🔥🔥"

Doncic is now averaging 34.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 9.4 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 49.1% from the field and 38.0% from the three-point range in 45 games.  

With the victory, the Mavs improved to 30-23 in 53 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are in the middle of a four-game winning streak and are 6-4 over their last ten games. 

Following the Thunder, the Mavs will remain in Dallas to host Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards on Monday evening. 

As for the Thunder, they dropped to 35-17 in 52 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 6-4 over their last ten games. 

Following the Mavs, the Thunder will return home to host the Sacramento Kings on Sunday afternoon.
