Magic Johnson's Reaction After Los Angeles Lakers Lose Game 2

Magic Johnson sent out four tweets after the Los Angeles Lakers lost Game 2.

On Thursday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors faced off against each other at the Chase Center in San Francisco for Game 2 of their second-round playoff series.

The Lakers won the first game 117-112 but were unable to keep the momentum going in Game 2 and lost in a 127-100 blowout.

They allowed Klay Thompson and Steph Curry to shoot a combined 69% from the three-point range, and the entire starting lineup for the Warriors scored in double-digits.

In addition, the Lakers struggled on offense, as the team shot just 42.6% from the field and only one starter scored more than 11 points.

Anthony Davis exploded for 30 points and 23 rebounds in Game 1 but was limited to just 11 points and seven rebounds on the night.

After the game, Hall of Famer (and Lakers legend) Magic Johnson sent out four tweets with his reaction to the loss.

Johnson's first tweet: "Six Warriors ended in double figures led by Klay Thompson with 30 points in only three quarters. 🤯"

Johnson's second tweet: "Jamychal Green was the unsung hero for the Warriors with 15 points. Steph Curry made excellent passes and put his teammates in position to get easy baskets with his 12 assists and 20 points."

Johnson's third tweet"Coach Steve Kerr made excellent adjustments on offense putting Jamychal Green in the line up to spread the court as well as adjusting their offensive plays. Defensively they kept the Lakers out of the paint."

Johnson's fourth tweet: "In Game 3 the Lakers have to make some major changes and adjust to how the Warriors are now playing them."

The Lakers were in the exact same position in the first round when they beat the Memphis Grizzlies in six games.

They won the first game on the road, but lost Game 2, with Games 3 and 4 on their home floor in Los Angeles.

Game 3 will be on Saturday night.
