Milwaukee Bucks Officially Sign Former All-Star
On Sunday night, the Milwaukee Bucks will be on the road to face off with the Washington Wizards in Washington, D.C.
They had been in the middle of a 16-game winning streak before losing 133-130 to the Philadelphia 76ers (at home) on Saturday night.
Following the loss to the 76ers, the Bucks made the signing of 2018 NBA All-Star Goran Dragic official.
Via The Bucks: "The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Goran Dragić."
Dragic had spent the first 51 games of the season with the Chicago Bulls but was waived last month.
While he is no longer the starting caliber player he once was, the 36-year-old has the potential to be an excellent addition to the Bucks' bench.
He is currently averaging 6.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per contest (while shooting 42.5% from the field and 35.2% from the three-point range).
The Bucks will be his seventh team, as he has also had stints with the Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors (in addition to the Bulls).
His career averages are 13.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists per contest (while shooting 45.9% from the field and 36.1% from the three-point range).
As for the Bucks, they enter the day as the best team in the NBA with a 45-18 record in 63 games.
They are 18-12 in the 30 games they have played on the road and an unbelievable 27-6 in 33 games hosted in Wisconsin.
In 2021, the Bucks won the NBA Championship, and last season they lost in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.
