Minnesota Timberwolves Make 2 Roster Moves
On Monday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the New York Knicks (at home) by a score of 117-100.
Anthony Edwards led the way with 23 points, ten rebounds and five assists in 39 minutes of playing time.
The Timberwolves will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they host the Philadelphia 76ers, and before the game, they made two roster moves.
Via Timberwolves PR: "NEWS: @Timberwolves recall forward Leonard Miller and guard Wendell Moore Jr. from G League affiliate @iawolves.
Miller and Moore Jr. will be available for tomorrow night's game against Philadelphia."
Moore Jr. was the 26th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft out of Duke and is in his second season in the league (all with the Timberwolves).
He has yet to play in a game for the Timberwolves this season, and last year, he averaged 1.4 points per contest while shooting 41.9% from the field.
Meanwhile, Miller was the 33rd pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and has played one game with the Timberwolves.
The Timberwolves have gotten off to a fantastic start to the season and are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 10-3 record in their first 13 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and a perfect 6-0 on their home floor at the Target Center.
Following the 76ers, the Timberwolves will host De'Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings on Friday evening.
Last season, they lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
