Stephon Marbury posted a photo to his Instagram story insinuating he wants to have a boxing match with ESPN's Stephen A. Smith. Marbury was an All-Star in the NBA with the New Jersey Nets and Phoenix Suns and also had a long tenure with the New York Knicks.

Stephon Marbury has been in the news recently after his comments about Kyrie Irving and Stephen A. Smith (more on that can be read here from Nico Martinez of Fadeaway World).

Smith talked about Marbury on ESPN's First Take recentley, and that clip can be seen embedded below.

On Saturday evening, Marbury posted a hilarious Instagram story, which called for a boxing match between him and Smith in Las, Vegas, Nevada, next year.

Marbury is a two-time NBA All-Star (once with the Phoenix Suns and once with the New Jersey Nets). In addition to the Nets and Suns, he's also played for the New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics and in China. 

He has career averages in the NBA of 19.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game. 

He's now 44-years-old after entering the NBA in 1996 as a teenager.
