NBA News: The Golden State Warriors Announce That They've Exercised The Contract Options On These Two Players
On Friday the Golden State Warriors announced that they exercised the contract options of Jordan Poole and James Wiseman.
The announcement can be seen in a tweet that is embedded below from the Warriors P.R. Twitter account.
Wiseman was the second overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and played 39 games during his rookie season averaging 11.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
He has yet to play in a game this season due to recovering from his meniscal tear surgery last season.
Poole was the 28th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft out of the University of Michigan, and has career averages of 10.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 113 career games.
Wiseman is 20-years-old and Poole is 22-years-old.
The Warriors began the season on a roll winning their first four games against the Lakers,, Clippers, Kings and Thunder before losing to the Memphis Grizzlies in their last game.
