On Sunday evening, the Miami Heat defeated the Denver Nuggets by a score of 111-108 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

The series is now tied up at 1-1, and Games 3 and 4 will be in Miami on Wednesday and Friday.

During Sunday's game, the officials made a huge mistake as Jimmy Butler was clearly out of bounds when he completed a pass to Gabe Vincent (who made a three-pointer).

The missed call was one of several mistakes, as the officials made other questionable decisions during the evening.

Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic had a sensational game, putting up 41 points, 11 rebounds and four assists in 41 minutes of playing time.

However, the Heat played a complete game and had three players score 21+ points (Vincent led the way with 23).

They also shot an impressive 48.7% from the three-point range and had 28 assists.

The Heat are in the middle of a sensational run through the 2023 NBA Playoffs and have already defeated the Chicago Bulls (play-in tournament), Milwaukee Bucks (first seed), New York Knicks (fifth seed) and Boston Celtics (second seed).

In addition, they are only the second 8th seed ever to reach the Finals.

As for the Nuggets, they are the first seed in the Western Conference and have defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves (eighth seed), Phoenix Suns (fourth seed) and Los Angeles Lakers (seventh seed).

This was the first game the Nuggets lost at home during the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
