UPDATE: New York Knicks Make Several Roster Moves

On Wednesday, the New York Knicks made several roster moves.

UPDATE: The Knicks have assigned Dylan Windler to the G League and recalled DaQuan Jeffries, Miles McBride and Jericho Sims. 

On Monday evening, the New York Knicks lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 117-100 at the Target Center.      

They will play their next game on Friday evening when they host Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden in New York City. 

On Wednesday, the team announced that they had made several roster moves.

First, they recalled Dylan Windler from the G League.  

The former first-round pick signed with the team over the offseason, and he has played in three games for the Knicks so far this season.

The Knicks also assigned three players to the G League.

Jeffries has played in six games for the Knicks this season and is averaging 1.2 points per contest. 

McBride has played in 11 games for the Knicks this season and is averaging 1.9 points per contest. 

Sims has played in seven games for the Knicks this season. 

As for the Knicks, they are 8-6 in their first 14 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.  

They are 6-4 in their previous ten games and 3-2 in the five games they have hosted at Madison Square Garden.

Last season, the Knicks were the fifth seed in the east and defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the NBA playoffs (they lost to the Heat in the second round in six games).
