New York Knicks Star Fined $2,000 By NBA
On Friday evening, the New York Knicks played the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena in Georgia.
The game was close, but the Knicks were able to win on the road by a score of 126-120.
Star point guard Jalen Brunson finished his night with 31 points, three rebounds and five assists in 33 minutes of playing time.
On Saturday, the NBA announced that they had fined Brunson for flopping in the game.

The Knicks played the second night of a back-to-back against the New Orleans Pelicans (in Louisiana) on Saturday and lost by a score of 96-87.
Brunson had 13 points, four rebounds and five assists in 31 minutes of playing time.
Brunson is in his second season with the Knicks and is coming off a fantastic year where he averaged 24.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.2 assists per contest while shooting 49.1% from the field and 41.6% from the three-point range.
The Knicks were the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference and beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the NBA playoffs, which was their first time winning a playoff series since 2013.
However, they lost to the Miami Heat in the second round (in six games).
The Knicks are now 1-2 in their first three games and will play their fourth game of the season on Tuesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers (in Ohio).
