Jokic will have an excellent chance to win his third MVP Award in 2024.
He came into the evening with averages of 25.9 points, 12.3 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 58.3% from the field and 35.1% from the three-point range in 57 games.
The Nuggets are also having an excellent season and are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 40-19 record in 59 games.
They are in the middle of a four-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games.
Following their matchup with the Heat, the Nuggets will travel to Los Angeles for a showdown with the Lakers on Saturday evening.
As for the Heat, they are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 33-25 record in 58 games.
