Nikola Jokic's Dunk Is Going Viral In Warriors-Nuggets Game
On Monday evening, the Denver Nuggets hosted the Golden State Warriors in Colorado.
The game was close, but the Nuggets were able to pull away at the end and won by a score of 120-114.
Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic finished the day with 26 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists while shooting 4/12 from the field in 39 minutes of playing time.
In the fourth quarter, Jokic had a big dunk that got a lot of attention on social media.
Aaron Gordon bounced a pass to Jokic, who came running down the lane and immediately dunked the ball without taking a dribble.
Jokic has played in 31 games so far this season and has averages of 26.4 points, 12.3 rebounds, 9.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 54.1% from the field and 32.1% from the three-point range.
With the victory, the Nuggets improved to 22-10 in their first 32 games, which has them as the second seed in the Western Conference.
They are in the middle of a five-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games.
Following the Warriors, the Nuggets will play their next game on Thursday when they host Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies.
At home, they are 12-2 in the 14 games they have played in Denver.
As for the Warriors, their five-game winning streak was snapped, and they fell to 15-15 in their first 30 games.
They are the the 11th seed in the Western Conference and 6-9 in 15 games on the road.
