Nikola Jokic Made NBA History In Suns-Nuggets Game

On Monday evening, the Denver Nuggets hosted the Phoenix Suns for Game 2 of their second-round playoff series.
They won by a score of 97-87, so they now have a commanding 2-0 lead in the series.
Nikola Jokic has been excellent during the 2023 NBA Playoffs, and he had another fantastic game on Monday.
In 41 minutes, the two-time MVP put up 39 points, 16 rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block while shooting 17/30 from the field.
He also made NBA history by becoming only the fifth player ever to have 20+ points, 15+ rebounds and 5+ assists in three straight playoff games.

Games 3 and 4 will be in Phoenix on Friday and Sunday.
The Nuggets are the first seed in the Western Conference after finishing the regular season with a 53-29 record.
In the first round, they beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games.
As for the Suns, they are the fourth seed (45-37) and are coming off defeating the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round (also in five games).
Whoever wins the series will advance to the Western Conference Finals and face off against either the Golden State Warriors or the Los Angeles Lakers.
