Last year, the Bulls were the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-42 record.
They beat the Toronto Raptors in the first play-in tournament game but lost to the Miami Heat in the second, so they missed the NBA playoffs for the fifth time in the previous six seasons.
On October 25, the Bulls will host the Oklahoma City Thunder for their first regular season game of the year.
As for the Nuggets, they are coming off a sensational year where they were the first seed in the Western Conference and won the NBA Championship over the Miami Heat.
They will play their first regular season game on October 24 when they host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
