OG Anunoby's Official Injury Status For Kings-Knicks Game

On Thursday evening, the New York Knicks will host the Sacramento Kings at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.

For the game, the Knicks will remain without one of their best players, as OG Anunoby has been ruled out.

Anunoby has missed each of the previous eight games, so this will be his ninth straight out of the starting lineup.

Via Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee on Wednesday: "The New York Knicks are listing Josh Hart (right wrist sprain) and Mitchell Robinson (left ankle management) as questionable for Thursday’s game against the Sacramento Kings. OG Anunoby (right elbow tendinopathy) and Julius Randle (right shoulder dislocation) are out."

Anunoby has had a productive season with averages of 14.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 49.2% from the field and 37.1% from the three-point range in 44 games.

The Knicks are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 44-31 record in 75 games.

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games but are also in the middle of a three-game losing streak.

Following the Kings, the Knicks will play their next game on Friday evening when they host the Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden.

As for the Kings, they are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-31 record in 75 games.

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

Following New York, the Kings will visit the Boston Celtics on Friday evening.
