OG Anunoby's Current Injury Status For Knicks-Bulls Game
UPDATE: OG Anunoby is available (h/t Fred Katz of The Athletic).
On Friday evening, the New York Knicks will face off against the Chicago Bulls at the United Center in Illinois.
For the game, OG Anunoby is listed as questionable on the injury report.
The former Indiana Hoosier has missed each of the previous nine games, so this would be his tenth straight out of the starting lineup (if he doesn't play).
Via SNY's Ian Begley: "OG Anunoby is listed as questionable for Knicks game vs. Bulls tonight, per the NBA injury report. Anunoby has missed past nine games due to elbow ailment. Tom Thibodeau said yesterday NYK was cautiously optimistic about Anunoby. This is a big step toward Anunoby's return."
Anunoby has had a very productive season with averages of 14.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 49.2% from the field and 37.1% from the three-point range in 44 games.
The Knicks are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 45-31 record in 76 games.
They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Sacramento Kings by a score of 120-109.
Following Chicago, the Knicks will play their next game on Sunday evening when they visit Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin.
As for the Bulls, they are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 36-40 record in 76 games.
They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 113-101.
