OG Anunoby's Official Injury Status For Knicks-Raptors Game
On Wednesday evening, the New York Knicks will face off against the Toronto Raptors in Canada.
For the game, the Knicks will remain without one of their best players, as OG Anunoby has been ruled out.
The former Indiana star has missed each of the previous four games, so this will be his fifth straight out of the lineup.
Via SNY's Ian Begley on Tuesday: "NYK is listing OG Anunoby as out for Wednesday's game at TOR due to right elbow injury management. Anunoby has missed past 5 games (including Wednesday's game) since irritating his surgically-repaired right elbow on 3/16. Anunoby participated in some of NYK shootaround Tuesday."
Anunoby is in the middle of another productive season with averages of 14.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 49.2% from the field and 37.1% from the three-point range in 44 games.
The Knicks are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 43-28 record in 71 games.
They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.
Following the Raptors, the Knicks will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit the San Antonio Spurs in Texas.
As for the Raptors, they are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 23-49 record in 72 games.
They are in the middle of a 12-game losing streak.
Following New York, the Raptors will play their next game on Sunday evening when they host the Philadelphia 76ers.
