On Friday evening, the New York Knicks will be in Texas to face off against the San Antonio Spurs.

For the game, the Knicks will remain without one of their best players, as OG Anunoby has been ruled out.

The former Indiana Hoosiers star has missed each of the previous five games, so this will be his sixth straight out of the starting lineup.

Via SNY's Ian Begley on Thursday: "No change on NYK injury report for tomorrow vs SAS. OG Anunoby (rt elbow injury management) is out & Alec Burks (rt shoulder sprain) is questionable. Mitchell Robinson, who returned to court on Wednesday for first time since early December ankle surgery, is not listed on report"

Anunoby is averaging 14.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 49.2% from the field and 37.1% from the three-point range in 44 games.

The Knicks are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 44-28 record in 72 games.

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

Following San Antonio, the Knicks will play their next game on Sunday evening when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder at Madsion Square Garden.

As for the Spurs, they are the 15th seed (last place) in the Western Conference with a 17-56 record in 73 games.

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.
