Philadelphia 76ers Make Roster Move After Bulls Game
On Monday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Chicago Bulls in Pennsylvania (the 76ers lost by a score of 108-104).
Jaden Springer was not with the team for the game, as he was assigned to the Blue Coats (G League).
On Tuesday, the 76ers have now recalled Springer back to the NBA.
Via Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer: "Jaden Springer has been recalled to the 76ers."
Springer has played in 15 NBA games so far this season and is averaging 4.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest while shooting 37.9% from the field and 29.4% from the three-point range.
He was the 28th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft out of Tennessee and is in his third season in the league (all with the 76ers).
His career averages are 3.2 points and 1.3 rebounds per contest while shooting 42.6% from the field and 31.8% from the three-point range in 33 regular season games (he has also appeared in nine NBA playoff games).
As for the 76ers, they are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with an 18-8 record in their first 26 games of the season.
They are 7-3 over their last ten games and 10-4 in the 14 games they have hosted on their home floor.
Following the Bulls, the 76ers will now host Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday evening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Timberwolves are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 20-5 record in their first 25 games.
