On Saturday evening, the San Antonio Spurs and Washington Wizards played an exciting game in Washington, D.C.
The two teams went into the final period tied, and the Spurs were able to win by a score of 131-127.
Victor Wembanyama had another good game, putting up 24 points, eight rebounds, four assists and six blocks while shooting 10/21 from the field and 2/5 from the three-point range in only 28 minutes of playing time.

Wembanyama was the first pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and has instantly become of the most exciting players in the league.
Through his first 36 games, the 20-year-old is averaging 19.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 3.2 blocks per contest while shooting 46.2% from the field and 29.6% from the three-point range.
With the victory, the Spurs improved to 8-34 in their first 42 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Western Conference.
They are 3-7 over their last ten games and will visit Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday evening in Pennsylvania.
On the road, the Spurs are 5-18 in the 23 games they have played away from San Antonio.
While the Spurs will likely miss the NBA playoffs for the fifth straight season, they are seen as a team that has a very bright future (led by Wembanyama).
