On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers are hosting the Los Angeles Lakers in California.

Russell Westbrook is playing in his 1,136th career game, which ties Detlef Schrempf for 65th on the NBA's all-time regular season games played list.

Following Schrempf, the next player for Westbrook to pass will be Danny Schayes (1,138).

Westbrook came into the evening with averages of 11.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.5% from the field and 28.4% from the three-point range in 41 games.

The Clippers have gotten off to an excellent start to the season, as they are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 27-14 record in their first 41 games.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games.

In their most recent game, the Clippers had a huge comeback against the Brooklyn Nets and won by a score of 125-114.

Westbrook had 23 points, nine rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block while shooting 10/16 from the field and 1/2 from the three-point range in 31 minutes of playing time.

Following the Lakers, the Clippers will face off against the Toronto Raptors on Friday evening in Canada.

While Westbrook is a role player with the Clippers, he is one of the best point guards of all time and will be a Hall of Famer one day.

He has also spent time with the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards and Oklahoma City Thunder over his 16 seasons.
