Sacramento Kings Make Roster Move Before Pacers Game

On Thursday evening, the Sacramento Kings will host the Indiana Pacers in California.
Before the game, the team made a roster move by recalling a player from the G League.

Jones was the 34th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft (out of Xavier) this past summer.
He is currently averaging 2.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per contest while shooting 38.1% from the field in 15 games.
The 21-year-old has spent a lot of time in the G League and is averaging 17.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.4 steals per contest while shooting 52.0% from the field and 34.6% from the three-point range in five regular season games.

As for the Kings, they are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 23-17 record in their first 40 games.
They are 5-5 over their last ten games and have lost each of the previous three games.
Most recently, the Kings lost to the Phoenix Suns (in Arizona) by a score of 119-117.
Following Indiana, they will host Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks on Monday evening.
At home, the Kings are 13-7 in the 20 games they have played in Sacramento, California.

The Kings are coming off a season where they were the third seed in the Western Conference and made the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2006.
They lost to the Golden State Warriors in the first round (in seven games).
