Sacramento Kings Player Is Still A Free Agent
Terence Davis is coming off a year where he played in 64 regular season games for the Sacramento Kings and averaged 6.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists per contest while shooting 42.3% from the field and 36.6% from the three-point range (he also appeared in four NBA playoff games).
This summer, the 26-year-old became a free agent, and he remains available to be signed by any team in the league.
Davis is a talented scorer, and in four out of the five games that he played 26+ minutes, he scored 21+ points.
In addition to the Kings, Davis has also spent time with the Toronto Raptors.
His career averages are 8.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest while shooting 43.4% from the field and 36.6% from the three-point range in 227 regular season games (he has also appeared in ten NBA playoff games).
Davis is at an age where he is approaching the prime of his career, so he could get even better over the next few seasons.
In addition, he is a proven scorer who can put up big numbers when given playing time.
Therefore, Davis could be an excellent addition to the bench of a team that is contending for the 2024 NBA Championship.
This past year, the Kings were the third seed in the Western Conference with a 48-34 record and made the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2006 season.
They lost to the Golden State Warriors in the first round (in seven games).
