Sensational Video Of Steph Curry Is Going Viral
On Tuesday evening, the Golden State Warriors are in Oklahoma to face off with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Two-time MVP Steph Curry had missed 11 games in a row before returning against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday afternoon.
Back on February 27, 2016 (just over seven years ago), Curry hit one of the most memorable shots in NBA history when the Warriors beat the Thunder (on the road) in overtime.
The four-time NBA Champion pulled up from way beyond the three-point range and drilled the game-winning shot with less than one second left.
ESPN announcer Mike Breen famously screamed: "BANG! BANG! OH WHAT A SHOT FROM CURRY!"
On Monday, Curry reenacted the shot at practice (on the Thunder's court), and the Warriors added Breen's voice from the 2016 ESPN broadcast.
The video is going viral on Twitter and has over 900,000 views in less than 24 hours.
That season, Curry won his second MVP Award (unanimously) and averaged an unbelievable 30.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 2.1 steals per contest in 79 games.
He also shot an extraordinary 50.4% from the field and 45.4% from the three-point range.
The Warriors went 73-9, which is the best regular season record in NBA history.
Right now, they are 34-31 record in 65 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.
Curry is in the middle of another remarkable year with averages of 29.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.0 steals per contest in 39 games.
