On Wednesday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder will face off against the Boston Celtics in Massachusetts.

For the game, the Thunder will be without their best player, as superstar guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been ruled out.

Gilgeous-Alexander also missed the team's last game, so this will be his second straight out of the starting lineup.

Gilgeous-Alexander has had a fantastic season and is averaging 30.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.1 steals per contest while shooting 53.9% from the field and 36.5% from the three-point range in 71 games.

The Thunder are among the best teams in the NBA with a 52-23 record in 75 games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 109-105.

Following their matchup with the Celtics, the Thunder will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit Pascal Siakam and the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis.
