Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's Viral Instagram Post After Thunder-Timberwolves Game

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made a post to Instagram after Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder faced off against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center.  

The Thunder won by a score of 102-97, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 33 points, two rebounds, six assists and two steals while shooting 10/22 from the field and 1/2 from the three-point range in 37 minutes of playing time. 

After the game, the All-Star guard made a post to Instagram. 

Gilgeous-Alexander captioned his post: "they talk about me for my post game, not my postgame"

It's possible that his caption was a reference to Anthony Edwards' comments after the game.

Gilgeous-Alexander is now averaging 31.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.2 steals per contest while shooting 54.9% from the field and 32.6% from the three-point range in 41 games.  

He has helped the Thunder get off to an incredible start, as they are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 29-13 record in their first 42 games. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Thunder will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday evening in Oklahoma City. 

On the road, they are 13-8 in 21 games, while they are 16-5 in the 21 games they have played at home.

As for the Timberwolves, they dropped to 30-12 in their first 42 games, which still hast them as the first seed in the Western Conference.

They will play their next game on Monday when they host the Charlotte Hornets.
