Steph Curry's Amazing Quote About Klay Thompson
On Monday night, the Golden State Warriors beat the Phoenix Suns 123-112 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
Klay Thompson erupted for 38 points, five rebounds, one steal and one block in 34 minutes of playing time.
Following the game, two-time MVP Steph Curry spoke about Thompson.
Curry: "I love motivated Klay. Whatever it takes to get him locked in and focused. There's been a lot of chirping back and forth and the narratives around us playing Phoenix and him and Book and all that. Two great scorers going at it, so the way he came out was just determined. We know he can get hot like that at any point, but it seemed like he had a little extra edge tonight, so it was great to see."
Curry finished his night with 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists in 33 minutes.
With the victory, the Warriors are now on a two-game winning streak and 36-33 in 69 games.
They are tied with the Los Angeles Clippers for the fifth seed in the Western Conference and are 7-3 in their last ten games.
At home, the Warriors have been phenomenal, going 29-7 in 36 games hosted at the Chase Center.
That said, they will play their next five games on the road, and they are just 7-26 in 33 games away from home.
The Warriors will visit the Los Angeles Clippers, Atlanta Hawks, Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks before returning home to host the Philadelphia 76ers on March 24.
