Steph Curry Made NBA History In Warriors-Nuggets Game

Steph Curry made NBA history during Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Golden State Warriors are in Colorado, facing off against the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena. 

Two-time MVP Steph Curry has gotten off to a fantastic start to the new season, and during the game, he made NBA history.  

Via The Warriors: "Stephen Curry is the first player in NBA history to make 4+ threes in each of his first nine games of a season."

Curry came into the evening with averages of 30.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 53.0% from the field and 47.5% from the three-point range in eight games.  

The Warriors are 6-2 in their first eight games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference.

They most recently defeated the Detroit Pistons by a score of 120-109, and Curry had 34 points, two rebounds and four assists while shooting 12/26 from the field and 7/17 from the three-point range in 33 minutes of playing time. 

Curry is in his 15th season but is still among the top ten players in the NBA and is coming off a year where he averaged 29.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists per contest while shooting 49.3% from the field and 42.7% from the three-point range in 56 games. 

The Warriors were the sixth seed in the Western Conference and lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the NBA playoffs. 

Following the Nuggets, they will play their next game against the Cleveland Cavaliers (at home) on Saturday evening at the Chase Center.
