On Thursday evening, the Golden State Warriors are playing the Houston Rockets in Texas.

During the first half, two-time MVP Steph Curry made an excellent hook shot that got a lot of views on social media.

Curry is in the middle of another incredible season with averages of 26.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists per contest while shooting 44.7% from the field and 40.4% from the three-point range in 69 games.

The Warriors are the tenth seed in the Western Conference (the final play-in tournament spot) with a 41-34 record in 75 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a five-game winning streak.

Following their matchup with the Rockets, the Warriors will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit the Dallas Mavericks in Texas.

Thursday's showdown with the Rockets is significant, because they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 38-37 record in 75 games.

They are 3.0 games back of the Warriors.

Over the last ten games, the Rockets are 8-2, but they are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

Following Golden State, they will play their next game on Friday evening when they host Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat.

Last season, the Warriors were the sixth seed in the Western Conference and lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the NBA playoffs.
