Steve Kerr's Amazing Quote About Steph Curry After Warriors Beat Lakers

Steve Kerr had high-praise for Steph Curry after the Warriors beat the Lakers.

On Saturday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be in Los Angels to face off against the Lakers for Game 3 of their second-round playoff series. 

The series is tied up at 1-1 after the two teams split both Games 1 and 2 at the Chase Center in San Francisco. 

After losing Game 1, the Warriors rebounded with a 127-100 victory on Wednesday evening. 

Steph Curry had 20 points, four rebounds, 12 assists and one steal in 30 minutes of playing time. 

He was ultra-efficient, shooting 7/12 from the field and 3/5 from the three-point range. 

The two-time MVP is averaging 23.1 shot attempts per game during the 2023 NBA Playoffs, so he played more of a distributor role than he had in the prior eight games. 

For reference, Curry had 50 points on 20/38 shooting from the field in Game 7 of their first-round series against the Sacramento Kings. 

After the big win, head coach Steve Kerr had high praise for Curry (Kerr's full media availability can be watched here).

With Games 3 and 4 both in Los Angeles, the Warriors will need to win at least one to avoid falling into a 3-1 hole.

Game 5 will be back in San Francisco on Wednesday evening, and the winner of the series will advance to the Western Conference Finals and face off against either the Denver Nuggets or the Phoenix Suns.
