On Tuesday evening, the Golden State Warriors had their season come to an end when they lost 118-94 to the Sacramento Kings in the play-in tournament.

A lot of the talk has been about Klay Thompson's future with Golden State, as he will be a free agent over the summer.

The four-time NBA Champion had a rough game, and finished with 0 points, four rebounds and one assist while shooting 0/10 from the field and 0/6 from the three-point range in 32 minutes of playing time.

That said, head coach Steve Kerr spoke highly of Thompson after the loss (h/t NBA TV).

Kerr: "We need Klay back. I know he had a tough night tonight, but what he represents for us the spacing. We're not a deep shooting team, we're a little a top heavy. Klay's presence means so much to the spacing on the floor, to the flow of the offense. He's still got good years left. I know speak for everybody in the organization. We want him back."

Thompson finished the regular season with averages of 17.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while shooting 43.2% from the field and 38.7% from the three-point range in 77 games.

He has helped lead Golden State to the NBA Finals six times over his 11 seasons.
